Even a casual fan of 'Game of Thrones' would have understood by now that the story has two protagonists: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. And even between the two the crowd favourite is without a doubt Jon Snow. While that's no measure of who is better, Jon is everyone's favourite because he puts his principles above all else.
He keeps his word, he fights the good fight, he accepts responsibility and he is just. He may know nothing but he has a whole lot to offer. He fought and fought and got killed and rose from the dead to fight more. Jon is truly, in the historic sense of things, a hero.
His life hasn't been easy at all. From the bastard tag and the belittling he endured because of that all his life, to losing one loved one after the other, to making the toughest of choices (between what's easy and what's right), Jon has suffered it all, and yet he never gives up or bears ill will. He seeks no glory, only what is right.
Jon is incorruptible. A YouTuber created a tribute to the life of Jon Snow called 'Jon Snow | The White Wolf' using clips from all the seasons of GoT and told his tale. The video is approximately 6 minutes of cuts from various episode, woven together masterfully with a hauntingly beautiful score. Watch this emotional video and try not to tear up.
